Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 12 August 2026

This policy protects marketplace participants and the hosted service. Bounties is owned and managed by Bittrees and authored by Bittrees Technology. It applies to listings, proposals, deliveries, profiles, reviews, links, and attempts to use Bounties.

Use the marketplace lawfully

You may not create, propose, deliver, fund, promote, review, or link to work that violates applicable law or another person’s rights. You may not use Bounties to conceal the nature, source, ownership, location, or control of funds or services, or to help another person evade a lawful restriction.

Prohibited services and content

Platform integrity

Do not interfere with the service, probe or bypass access controls without authorization, overload infrastructure, introduce harmful code, scrape personal data, automate abusive traffic, manipulate ratings, coordinate sham transactions, falsify evidence, or misrepresent token contracts, wallet authority, or chain state.

Reporting, review, and restoration

Signed-in users can report a listing, review, or public profile in the product. Authorized moderators may hide content from the hosted frontend, preserve relevant records, restrict hosted access, and respond to valid legal process. Hiding content does not change onchain escrow or token state. Reports should identify the content and provide enough context for review. A participant may provide additional context through the same signed-in reporting or support channel, and authorized moderators may restore content after further review.

Enforcement

We may consider context, severity, recurrence, legal obligations, and participant safety. Responses may include no action, hiding content, preserving records, restricting hosted access, or reporting an imminent threat or legally required matter to the appropriate authority. Nothing in this policy promises monitoring or guarantees that unlawful content will be found. Users remain responsible for their transactions and can interact with public contracts independently of this hosted interface.

Contact and changes

Questions or abuse notices may be submitted through the signed-in reporting channel or the official Bittrees contact channel at bittrees.org. We may update this policy prospectively, identify a new effective date, and provide notice where required.
